    From 1986-1990 Jeff served in the United States Marine Corps as part of a Marine Security Detachment aboard a naval installation and as an infantry rifleman.  Jeff gained experience in all positions within an infantry fireteam.  In 1989, Jeff participated in the 1st Marine Division Super Squad Competition representing 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment.  Jeff was ultimately promoted to the rank of Corporal and assigned as a fireteam leader.

    In March 1992, Jeff was hired as a police officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.  While employed with the LVMPD Jeff worked as a patrol officer, field training officer providing on-the-job training and daily evaluations to new police officers who had recently graduated from the police academy, member of a combined local/federal narcotic and violent criminal offender task force, bicycle patrol officer, and narcotics detective.  Jeff instructed Field Sobriety Testing/DUI Investigations, Narcotics Identification, and Building Searching classes at the in-service level.  Jeff was a recipient of the Meritorious Unit Citation and numerous commendations.

    In November 1999, Jeff re-located to Southern California, where he was raised, and gained employment as a police officer with the Ventura Police Department where he is still currently employed.  While with the VPD Jeff has worked as a patrol officer, field training officer and motor officer assigned to the Traffic Division.  In April 2005, Jeff promoted to the supervisory rank of Corporal and was assigned to Patrol.  Jeff is currently assigned to the Traffic Division as a motor officer supervisor.  Jeff is a recipient of the Ventura Police Department's highest award for valor.

    Jeff is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and has advised and portrayed both police and military roles on film and television as principals, featured and special tactical abilities background -Casino, For Which He Stands, The Cure, Fight or Die, ITT-They Never Saw Us Coming (Industrial), Boeing (Industrial), Ice 44, CSI-New York, and Race To Witch Mountain.

    Jeff resides in Ventura County with his wife Celeste, who is a deputy sheriff, and three children.
