Chad Bennett

SFC Chad Bennett is a technical advisor living in the Los Angeles area.  During his 21 years of active duty in the US Army, he acquired vast military experience. After enlisting in 1986, he reported to the 82nd Airborne Division in North Carolina, where he served as a parachutist for eight years. He was subsequently stationed in Hawaii, Colorado, California and Germany. He is highly trained in combat arms as a Fire Support Specialist in Artillery, Fixed and Rotary Aircraft, Naval Air and Ground Gunfire, Jungle Warfare in Panama.  He served three tours in Iraq with Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003-2007 and Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm serving in Southwest Asia from 1990-1991.  Additionally, he was one of the elite few chosen to serve at the US National Training Center where he coached, taught and mentored soldiers in preparation for desert combat. 

SFC Bennett’s leadership skills abound, at one point having led 5 batteries consisting of 25 platoons and over 600 soldiers as they prepared for deployment.  Although retired as a Sergeant First Class, he has served as acting Sergeant Major and First Sergeant.  He has worked in conjunction with nearly every branch of the military including Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Special Operations.  On May 1, 2007, SFC Bennett retired honorably from Active Duty.  His awards include 1 Meritorious Service Medal,5 Army Commendation Medals, 4 Army Achievement Medals, 6 Army Good Conduct Medals, 2 National Defense Service Medals, 2 South West Asia Service Medals with Bronze Service Stars and countless additional medals, ribbons and badges.
